Thiago Almada from Argentina joined Atletico Madrid of La Liga earlier. Thiago Almada said that it has always been his dream to play for Atletico Madrid, and stressed that he would give everything for his teammates and the club.

Thiago Almada, 24, previously played for Botafogo and was loaned to Lyon in Ligue 1 in the 2024/25 season, contributing two goals for Lyon that season.
